Tunnel

These unfamiliar blank walls
That I have been walking by
Are illuminated by a far moon
That can just barely be seen

The sounds I hear are muffled
And distant
Separated from the reality
Of my journey down this path

As I walk I pass
Hundreds of others walking
Down their separate roads
Searching for their light

You are blurred
You are out of focus
I have failed to inject
Life into you
And your twinkling light
I can no longer see by my side
